Submit Poetry and Art to The Route of All Evil
Our upcoming anthology, The Route of All Evil: Poetry About Vices, is now accepting submissions of poetry and artwork.
The Route of All Evil is paved with self-destructive addictions to drugs, chemicals, food, sex, gambling, money, thrillseeking, and general hedonism and debauchery. Miscreants of this nature are known for their love of excess that gets distilled into poetry and visual art. Charles Bukowski, Dorothy Parker and Jack Kerouac, among others, are famed for turning their bad behavior into beauty.
We are looking for poetry and prose of less than 2000 words on the theme of vices, addictions, and other "immoral and depraved" behaviors. Writers may submit up to five pieces each for consideration.
We are also looking for color and/or black and white visual artwork of any medium on the same theme. Artwork should be sized at least 8" x 10" at 300dpi (or available at that size upon acceptance). Artists may submit up to five works for consideration.
Please email poetry and/or art to firstname.lastname@example.org. In the body of your email, please include a short introduction that includes your name, the name of your work(s), and if any have been previously published (we do allow previously published works as long as you retain the rights).
Deadline for submissions is CLOSED.
The Route of All Evil is slated for release in the late Spring / early Summer of 2015.
